Sisonke Surf Club, the non-profit organisation that promotes diversity in surfing - with the help of sponsors - is hosting Girls Surf Day on Saturday, 5 June 2021 from 9am to 1pm at Ushaka Beach, Durban. The fun-filled day aims to expose and encourage more girls from disadvantaged communities to explore the ocean and discover the sport of surfing.

I have been in the national team for 13 years where I have played in 4 world cups, 2 Olympic Games and 2 common wealth games- almost 300 matches for SA.

Sam made history in 2015, being the first Zulu female to compete in a World Surf League event, when she surfed in the Ballito Pro. We are so proud to have her in the squad!
