An integral part of our design process, is keeping functionality front-of-mind, to support your activity of choice. Every single style has been performance tested on land and in the water by our squad of Me and the Sea surfers, runners and yogis. Each of our styles offers unique features that can be viewed when you choose to shop. From the type of fabric we choose offering UPF protection, chlorine resistance and quick-to-dry to being fully lined, providing cup support and a clean design with no itchy labels. Our collections are multi-functional – we like to call them Land2Sea – taking you from being active on land to having fun in the water – no need for changing!

Mix & Match Heaven

We love the idea to mix-and-match, putting you in control of choosing your look.  We therefore sell tops and bottoms separately ensuring that there are always various style and print options available for you to mix-and-match to your heart’s content!

The Me and the Sea signature style is embracing vibrant colours and prints, while matching seemingly ‘clashing’ prints on one garment. In our collections you will often find mixed prints in carefully chosen details for a striking, one-of-a-kind look. We choose quality over quantity and produce a limited number of swimsuit and activewear styles in each print, because we believe you want to be unique, while doing what you love.

Proudly South African

At Me and the Sea we are passionately and proudly South African. As far as possible we support other local businesses in all aspects of our manufacturing process. We develop the concept and key features of all the styles and with the help of owner-run Durban-based clothing manufacturers and seamstresses we put the garment together. Then we test and tweak and test again until it fits perfectly. When you buy local you support a dream and make us do a happy-dance with every single purchase!
